In March 2005 the Honourable Mr. Justice Forbes heard evidence which took almost one day of the court's time and both sides were represented at the hearing. The Honourable Mr. Justice Forbes granted leave for permission on an application for Judicial Review on the main ground of challenge that H.M. Coroner Dr. Dolman had failed to conduct a full and fearless investigation surrounding the circumstances of Petar's death. On 15th April 2005
the Attorney General Lord Goldsmith granted his consent to make
an application to the High Court of Justice to quash the
inquisition in respect of Petar Sutovic and directing another
inquest to be held touching the death of Petar Sutovic. (click

Ms Sutovic and her family have been stripped of their right to grieve. How much more should this family have to go through to get to the truth and to ensure that an investigation now be conducted by the authorities? It was the duty of the authorities to have conducted this investigation from the day that Petar's body was repatriated to Heathrow Airport, London. He lived in West London and is laid to rest in West London H.M. Coroner for the Northern District of Greater London, Dr. Dolman had spent over £160,000 of public money in legal fees, in order to defend his open verdict. He stated that he did not have funds to conduct a full investigation by requesting British Police assistance to investigate Petar's death. WHY? WE ARE IN NEED OF YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT (Contact Us) |
